This is one of the better comedy movies I’ve seen in the last decade. It will leave you laughing throughout the film. Rob Schneider stars in this alongside Anna Faris, and Rachel McAdams. It is a slapstick type humor with lots of gags and scene setups in it. This one was directed by Tom Brady who previously worked with Rob Scheider in The Animal (2001). Both Tom and Rob worked together to write this. This is another switching of sexes scenario where things get pretty hairy sort of speak. It all begins with a pair of ancient earrings, and from then on their lives change for the better and worst.
Rob Schneider plays Jessica, Rachel McAdams plays Jessica, Anna Faris is April, Matthew Lawrence is Billy. (Matthew is the brother of Joseph Lawrence) Joseph Lawrence is probably best known as the television character Joey Russo from the show Blossom. Eric Christian Olsen appears in this as Jake, Robert Davi is Stan, Melora Hardin is Carol, Alexandra Holden is Lulu, Maritza Murray is Keecia, Fay Hauser is Mrs. Thomas, Jodi Long is the Korean Mother, Tia Mowry is Venetia, Tamera Mowry is Sissy, Lee Garlington is Vice Principal Bernard, and Angie Stone is Madame Mambuza. Adam Sandler also appears in this as Mambuza Bongo Guy who was uncredited.
You will most likely enjoy this one if you have an open minded sense of humor about things; I think most people liked it. There have been a number of films like this however such as It’s a Boy Girl Thing (2006) with a slightly different scenario. If you are in the mood for a laugh, then this one will at least make you smile.
